In addition to our own dedicated transport – a modern fleet that includes walking floors, artics and tippers – the increasing demand for our services means we’re always on the look out for first-class, reliable transport sub-contractors to undertake haulage work on our behalf.

We have frequent traffic movements to and from Yorkshire, Wales, the North East of England and elsewhere throughout the UK.

We also have frequent movements to, from, and between a number of specific Hargreaves company locations – for example Maltby Colliery (Yorks), Monckton Coke Works (Yorks), Newport (South Wales) and Immingham (North East Lincs).

Work available to sub-contractors varies on a weekly basis and can include backloads, return loads, high-tonnage work etc, hauling a variety of materials typically including coal, coke, stone, salt, bulk biomass, waste soil, glass etc.

Transport sub-contractors already known to us and on the Hargreaves approved list receive regular ‘work available’ bulletins by email and by fax.

This ‘work available’ information is now also available to view/download directly from a secure area on this website.
