Divisions

In April 2007, Hargreaves Industrial Services division acquired Simons Group Warehousing & Distribution Ltd, which operates under the Norec ‘umbrella’. This part of Norec specialises in the transportation and storage of minerals. This is predominantly petroleum coke for one of our clients ConocoPhillips.

Bulk haulage and deliveries of perlite and vermiculite are also carried out for British Gypsum, and dry bulk powder in tankers for Elkam ASA.

We provide deliveries in curtain-sided trailers for  Sea Cargo and Wincanton Group Ltd, along with traction for refrigerated trailers for A Visbeen & Zonen BV and HSF Logistics, and traction for continental trailers for Blue Water Shipping, DFDS Logistics, DSV Road Ltd and HJ Van Bentum.

Norec Storage and Transport is based at Killingholme in North East Lincolnshire so has excellent links to  Immingham Docks, just 2 miles away. There is warehouse storage capacity of 75,000 tonnes of bulk minerals, handling more than 275,000 tonnes per annum.
