Environmental Management – ISO14001:2004

Hargreaves Services plc and its subsidiary companies attach great importance to the value of having proper environmental management systems in place throughout our varied operations.

Environmental Management Systems are based on standards which specify a process of achieving continuously improved environmental performance and complying with legislation.

ISO 14001 is the standard that specifies the structure and controls of the Environmental Management System.

The other standards in the ISO 14000 series are guidelines. ISO 14001 is the only Standard of the 14000 series that can be certified by an External Certification Authority.
